Dr. Derksen provides a summary of the AHCA and breaks down how the 2018 budget would cut federal health funding over 10 years if the bill is passed by the Senate then signed by the President.
As Director of the Arizona Center for Rural Health, Dr. Derksen oversees the state Office of Rural Health, the Rural Hospital Flexibility Program, the Small Rural Hospital Improvement Program, and the Navigator Consortium. He is president of the Arizona Academy of Family Physicians.
