This week, 70 ASPPH-member schools and programs of public health participated in the first ASPPH Leadership Retreat at the Four Seasons in Denver, CO. The retreat focused on Tools for Leadership and had interactive sessions on managing implications related to health systems and population health, vision for alternative futures for public health, ASPPH Framing the Future Initiative, leading outward, and optimizing global public health in schools and programs.

ASPPH would like to thank Susan Curry, dean (Iowa); Robert Dittus, director and associate vice chancellor for public health and health care (Vanderbilt); John Finnegan, dean (Minnesota); and David Goff , dean (Denver), for planning this successful retreat and shaping the agenda.
