World No Tobacco Day, observed on May 31, was established to highlight the health risks associated with tobacco use and advocate for effective policies to reduce tobacco consumption. The theme of this year’s World Health Organization’s No Tobacco Day is “Stop Illicit Trade of Tobacco Products.” ASPPH stands with other public health partners to commemorate the day. ASPPH members are partners in global efforts to reduce tobacco use. These schools are involved in a broad spectrum of research and educational activities around tobacco cessation.
