This week, Dr. Lillian Smith, clinical associate professor at the University of South Carolina Arnold School of Public Health and chair of the ASPPH Practice Council, represented ASPPH at the Council on Linkages between Academia and Public Health Practice (Council on Linkages) meeting. Ms. Rita Kelliher, senior director of government and external programs at ASPPH, also attended the two-day meeting. ASPPH was the founding member of the Council on Linkages and through their members, an active participant in Council activities including the development of the Council on Linkages Core Competencies.
