The Council on Linkages Between Academia and Public Health Practice held a conference call on Monday, April 28 for its members and public health professionals interested in learning more about the Council and its activities. The Council is a coalition of representatives from 20 national organizations that furthers academic/practice collaboration to assure a well-trained, competent workforce and a strong, evidence-based public health infrastructure. Dean José Cordero (Puerto Rico) is the ASPPH representative to the Council and was represented by ASPPH staff Ms. Rita Kelliher and Ms. Rachel Eisenstein on the call.
