On Sunday, October 20, Dean John Finnegan (Minnesota) represented ASPPH at the 2013 World Health Summit in Berlin, Germany. He attended the meeting of the organizing group for the World Federation of Academic Institutions for Global Health, where they discussed bylaws. This year’s World Health Summit was the fifth annual conference of the M8 Alliance of Academic Health Centers, Universities, and National Academies. It was held from October 20-22 at the Federal Foreign Office in Berlin. The Summit was structured by four major tracks: global health for development, evidence to policy, research and innovation, and education and leadership.
