On Thursday, February 20 and Friday, February 21, Ms. Rita Kelliher and Ms. Allison Foster exhibited on behalf of ASPPH and NBPHE at the annual conference of the American College of Preventive Medicine. The conference, which was held in New Orleans, was attended by 600 members of ACPM and other guests. Over 100 sessions were held from Wednesday, February 18 through Saturday, February 22. The opening session was presented by Dr. Ken Warner, former dean of the University of Michigan School of Public Health. Dr. Warner addressed issues related to “the tobacco endgame.” Attendees who visited the ASPPH and NBPHE booths in the exhibit hall expressed interest in member services offered by ASPPH and in the Certified in Public Health credential. Other ASPPH members which exhibited at the conference were University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston Graduate Program in Public Health, University of Michigan School of Public Health, and the Loma Linda University School of Public Health.
