Dr. Brandon Brown, director of global health research, education and translation at the University of California, Irvine Program in Public Health, directed a collaborative team of researchers from Peru and the United States in an article focused on translating lessons learned into actionable strategies in the recruitment and retention of hard to reach populations. The article, titled Barriers and facilitators in the recruitment and retention of female sex workers in a randomized HPV vaccine trial, recently went into print in Vaccines and Vaccination.
