LAI Foundation, Inc. has selected Dr. Robert Fullilove, professor of sociomedical sciences at Columbia University Mailman School of Public Health, to receive its Life Changes Award 2014. Dr. Fullilove will be honored for his work as a community leader and activist in field of HIV/AIDS at the Foundation's annual event, “A Future Filled with Hope” on April 12. The nonprofit organization is dedicated to advocacy, education, and business partnerships on behalf of those affected by HIV/AIDS and other disproportionate health disparities in the Black community.
