Columbia Reports Celiac Patients with Ongoing Intestinal Damage at Risk for Lymphoma

Patients with celiac disease who had persistent intestinal damage, identified with repeat biopsy, had a higher risk of lymphoma than patients whose intestines healed, according to research conducted at Columbia University Medical Center (CUMC) and published in the August 6, 2013 issue of Annals of Internal Medicine.
