As more schools and programs of public health are requiring the CPH exam, the need for more flexible testing options has increased over the past several years. The National Board of Public Health Examiners (NBPHE) is pleased to announce that starting on May 1, candidates can schedule their CPH computer-based examination all year long. Candidates taking the exam via computer-based testing will continue to receive their results immediately after taking the exam. Paper-based candidates will be sent their results after 4-6 weeks.

NBPHE will send reports to schools and programs once a quarter – January 31, April 30, July 31, and October 31. If your institution needs results more frequently, please submit a request to info@nbphe.org.

Candidates who have already scheduled their exam during one of our previous windows but wish to move their testing date are able to reschedule once at no charge. A $125 fee is assessed for rescheduling second and subsequent times.
