Dr. Morabia is a renowned researcher, author and fellow of the Royal College of Physicians of Edinburgh, and the former editor-in-chief of Preventive Medicine. Dr. Morabia succeeds Dr. Mary E. Northridge in the chief editor role.

In his inaugural interview, Dr. Morabia said the American Journal of Public Health should “also become clearly a global journal. It should shine out the clear message for researchers and scientists in America and in the Americas, in Africa and the Middle East, in India, Asia, and Australia that we’re all interested in working together and sharing our experiences.”
