Nutrition is linked strongly with health outcomes in chronic kidney disease (CKD). Dr. Suzanne E. Judd, associate professor in the department of biostatistics at the University of Alabama at Birmingham – with co-investigators Dr. Paul Muntner, professor in the department of epidemiology; and Drs. Orlando M. Gutiérrez and Dana V. Rizk, associate professors in the division of nephrology – recently examined relationships between dietary patterns and health outcomes in persons with CKD.
