The first mental health clinic in the country to be placed in a retail location using a screening kiosk was designed by two Drexel University School of Public Health graduate students, Mr. Gregory Caplan and Ms. Teresa Moore. The screening comes in the form of an iPad proctored questionnaire.
Originally conceived as part of their award-winning exemplary community-based master’s project “Using Design Thinking to Create Innovative Solutions to Behavioral Health Problems: A Philadelphia Retail Clinic Pilot Program”, Mr. Caplan and Ms. Moore partnered with the Scattergood Foundation to implement.
