Dr. Yvonne Michael, an associate professor in the department of epidemiology and biostatistics at the Drexel University School of Public Health, is the first author of an article entitled “Does change in the neighborhood environment prevent obesity in older women?” in Social Science and Medicine. Dr. Michael collaborated with co-authors from the Oregon Health and Science University and Kaiser Permanente Northwest Center for Health Research on the paper.
