The New York-based Latino Center on Aging (LCA) will give a Lifetime Achievement Golden Age Award to Mr. David Saltman, adjunct instructor at Florida International University Robert Stempel College of Public Health and Social Work. This honor recognizes Mr. Saltman’s myriad contributions to the Latino/Hispanic senior community throughout his career. He will receive the award at the organization’s 28th annual gala at the Coral Gables Country Club.
The Golden Age Awards are presented each year to professionals who promote, educate and advocate for seniors through dedicated leadership. Mr. Saltman, who has more than five decades of experience in the field, is starting his 36th year with Florida International teaching undergraduate and graduate students at the school of Public Health.
