The School of Public Health at Georgia State University graduated more than 50 MPH and PhD students in ceremonies in May.

- Ms. Alexandria Patterson —Public Health Student Achievement Award and Diane Caves Memorial Award
- Mr. Tim Frederick, MPH, Superfund Division of the Environmental Protection Agency — Practicum Preceptor of the Year
- Captain Planet Foundation — Practicum Site of the Year
- Dr. Betty Lai, assistant professor of epidemiology and biostatistics — Excellence in Instruction Award
- Dr. Kim Ramsey-White, director of undergraduate programs — Exceptional Service Award

The school also inducted 16 new members into the Delta Omega Honorary Society in Public Health. The new inductees are:
