Georgia State’s Center for Leadership in Disability Becomes Organizational Partner of Charter for Compassion International and Compassionate Atlanta

The Center for Leadership in Disability (CLD) in the Center for Healthy Development at the Georgia State University School of Public Health has become an organizational partner of Charter for Compassion International. The Charter for Compassion is the realization of bestselling author and TED Prize recipient Karen Armstrong’s wish to commit to live by the principle of compassion and to influence others to do so as well. To date, the Charter for Compassion has been signed by individuals, leaders, cities, and organizations all over the world. Through these global connections, Charter partners hope is to bring compassion to life in business, governmental, educational, and personal practices.
