GW Professor Elected President of the American College of Epidemiology

Dr. Melissa Perry, chair of the department of environmental and occupational health at the George Washington University School of Public Health and Health Services, has been elected to the position of president of the American College of Epidemiology (ACE), the professional organization dedicated to continued education and advocacy for epidemiologists in their efforts to promote good science and the public health. Dr. Perry joined the college in 1999 and became a fellow in 2009; she was elected to the Board of Directors in 2008, and to the position of secretary in 2011.
