Dr. Kevin M. Schuer, an alumnus of the University of Kentucky College of Public Health, has been selected as the 2013 recipient of the Rising Star Award from the Physician Assistant Education Association (PAEA). The Rising Star award is given to a program faculty member with three to seven years of service who has demonstrated outstanding accomplishments in teaching, research or other scholarly activities, administration, and professional service. This national award has been presented by PAEA to notable program faculty since 2004 and has a distinguished list of previous award recipients.
