The American Journal of Public Health (AJPH) has chosen the University of Maryland School of Public Health’s Dr. Marian Moser Jones, an assistant professor of family science, for a AJPH Paper of the Year Award for her article on the history of household poison regulation in the U.S. Dr. Moser Jones’s paper, entitled “Poison Politics: A Contentious History of Consumer Protection against Dangerous Household Chemicals in the United States,” was published in the May 2013 issue of AJPH.
