Dr. Steven Katz, University of Michigan professor of medicine and health management and policy, is a featured researcher on LabTV, a collaboration between TedTalk founders and the NIH that produces videos about researchers. LabTV filmmakers and journalists spotlight researchers from many of the world’s leading universities, government labs, and corporations in order to market team science to high school and college students who are motivated to pursue careers in medical science and engineering.
Dr. Katz is also a cofounder of the University of Michigan’s Cancer Surveillance and Outcomes Research Team (CanSORT), an interdisciplinary group of investigators dedicated to researching cancer quality of care.
