University of Michigan School of Public Health’s Dr. Betsy Foxman, the Hunein F. and Hilda Maassab Professor of Epidemiology, has been selected the 2014 recipient of the American Public Health Association’s (APHA) Lilienfeld Award. The award recognizes excellence in the teaching of epidemiology during the course of a career. Dr. Foxman is also director of the Center for Molecular and Clinical Epidemiology and director of the Interdisciplinary Training Program in Infectious Diseases.
The award will be presented November 17 during the annual meeting of the American Public Health Association in New Orleans, LA.
