Michigan Study Finds Parents Equally Likely to Use Cell Phones While Driving as Others

Despite having children in the car, parents are no less likely to engage in driving distractions like cell phone use than drivers from the general population, according to a new University of Michigan study. The study featured researchers from the University of Michigan Medical School, the Injury Center, and the School of Public Health. School of Public Health researchers include Dr. Rebecca Cunningham, associate professor of health behavior and education, and Dr. Raymond Bingham, research professor of health behavior and education.
