Even while populations of color continue to grow as a proportion of the U.S. population, health inequalities experienced by nonwhite and Hispanic populations continues unabated. In the September/October issue of Public Health Reports, Dr. Richard Lichtenstein, S.J. Axelrod Collegiate Professor of Health Management and Policy at University of Michigan School of Public Health, describes the University of Michigan Summer Enrichment Program in Health Management and Policy, and reports results of a survey that assessed the program's impact on its participants.
