Closing Date: July 21, 2014
ASPPH, in cooperation with CDC, announces four additional non-research funding opportunities available through the ASPPH/CDC Cooperative Agreement, Workforce Improvement Projects (WIPs). The WIPs are extramural projects that focus on workforce development in various areas of public health practice. They are funded through cooperative agreements between CDC and its four academic partners: ASPPH, the American Association of Colleges of Nursing (AACN), the Association for Prevention Teaching and Research (APTR), and the Association of American Medical Colleges (AAMC). The available WIPs are open to eligibility for all CEPH-accredited school and program members of ASPPH. Faculty holding full appointments at ASPPH member institutions are eligible to apply. The WIP and guidance on how to apply is available at http://www.cdc-cafunding.org. The application deadline is Monday, July 21, 2014 by 8:00 pm Eastern.
