The National Hispanic Medical Association’s 18^th Annual Conference was held last week, March 28-30. ASPPH was accepted to present a poster on the importance of graduate education in public health, and CEPH-accreditation. As well, ASPPH participated in a recruitment event on Saturday targeted to high school, college, and graduate school students to learn more about opportunities in public health, medicine, and osteopathic medicine. The event was well attended by minority prospective students of public health and many of our member schools and programs were also in attendance. The 19^th Annual Conference will be in March of 2015.
