The University of North Texas Health Science Center’s School of Public Health will recognize National Public Health Week 2014 with a free, two-day community conference focused on “The Built Environment, Lifestyle and Health” on April 10-11. This event represents the School’s seventh annual North Texas Health Forum educational series, designed to bring national speakers and public health experts together with students, faculty, researchers, local leaders, business and the general community, to help lead the way toward positive change in the health and wellness of the North Texas community. This year’s keynote speaker will be Mr. Dan Burden, co-founder and director of Innovation and Inspiration of the non-profit Walkable and Livable Communities Institute, speaking on “The Impact of Lifestyle and the Built Environment on Health.”
