On Wednesday March 5, ASPPH staff – Ms. Rita Kelliher, Ms. Sarah Weiner, and Ms. Liz Weist – attended the de Beaumont Foundation, Duke Community and Family Medicine, and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention launch of Version 1.0 of the Practical Playbook at the National Press Club in Washington, DC. The playbook is a new tool aimed at helping local and state public health professionals and local, state, and regional primary-care groups collaborate with one another to improve their communities’ health and reduce health care costs. The interactive, online resource provides tools and tips for partners working through each stage of the integration process: organize and prepare; plan and prioritize; implement; monitor and evaluation; and celebrate and share.
