The Rutgers School of Public Health is proud to announce that a new associate dean for administration and finance has been appointed by Dean Perry N. Halkitis. The associate dean for administration and finance will join Dean Halkitis’ academic leadership team, which will work towards developing and implementing innovative and efficient administrative practices that will provide students with a state-of-the-art educational experience.
Mr. Mark Carmichael has been appointed as the associate dean for administration and finance and chief financial officer. As a senior executive for the Rutgers School of Public Health, he will serve as the chief operations officer responsible for all administrative and financial operations. As the school undergoes expansion with the development of innovative degrees and certificates, using state-of-the-art educational approaches, Mr. Carmichael’s role will involve the implementation of effective administrative and financial strategies and planning processes, across the school’s mission areas of education, research, and service.
