SOPHAS Advisory Council Elects New Members

Last week, representatives of ASPPH member CEPH-accredited schools and programs of public health participating in SOPHAS elected two new members to the SOPHAS Advisory Council. The new members are Dr. Joe Korevec, director of admissions and financial aid at the Columbia University Mailman School of Public Health, and Mr. Matthew Brandon, director of admissions, University of Miami Public Health Program. They join six other members of the SOPHAS Advisory Council: Mr. Guy Piotrowski, coordinator for applications and admissions at the University of Minnesota School of Public Health and immediate-past chair of the SOPHAS Advisory Council, Mr. Vincent James, director of admissions at the Harvard School of Public Health and chair of the SOPHAS Advisory Council, Ms. Caitlin Reid, assistant dean for admissions and student affairs at the University at Albany SUNY School of Public Health, Ms. Andrea Rex, assistant dean for student services of the University of California, Berkeley School of Public Health, Ms. Kara Robinson, associate dean for admissions and student affairs at the Emory University Rollins School of Public Health and chair-elect of the SOPHAS Advisory Council, and Dr. Mary Ann Smith, associate dean for student affairs, at the University of Texas School of Public Health.
