Two professors from the Arnold School of Public Health have been named as the most Highly Cited Researchers 2014 in a new Thomson Reuters listing.

They are Dr. Steve Blair (above left), listed in clinical medicine category, and Dr. Jamie R. Lead (above right), who is in the environment/ecology category.

Dr. Blair is a professor in the Arnold School’s department of exercise science and department of epidemiology and biostatistics. Dr. Lead, a professor in the Arnold School’s department of environmental health sciences, is chair of the Environmental Nanoscience and Risk Assessment Center of Economic Excellence at the University of South Carolina.

The 2014 list contains some 3,200 highly cited researchers in 21 fields of the sciences and social sciences.
