South Carolina Literature Review Examines Excessive Fatness Among Youth

A study led by researchers at the University of South Carolina Arnold School of Public Health has examined the factors that determine why some children become excessively fat. Their review of the scientific literature on factors contributing to overweight or obese young people, ages five to 18, finds that the answers are largely unknown. The results are published in Obesity Reviews, a journal of the International Association for the Study of Obesity.
