Scotland is not far from having the obesity problems found in the United States, according to Dr. Steve Blair, professor at the University of South Carolina Arnold School of Public Health. Dr. Blair presented research findings on international obesity levels at a meeting last week organized by the Royal College of Physicians of Edinburgh, in collaboration with the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh. Scotland will host the Commonwealth Games.
