South Florida Professor Contributes to High-Impact Research on Autism

Dr. Russell Kirby, professor and Marrell Endowed Chair in the department of community and family health at the University of South Florida College of Public Health, has contributed to two key studies with implications for the prevalence of autism spectrum disorder in the U.S. population. Both recently published studies were led by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s National Center on Birth Defects and Disabilities and its Autism and Developmental Disabilities Monitoring (ADDM) Network.
