Study by GW Researcher Finds Striking Decline of Flame Retardants in Blood of Women

A study by Dr. Ami R. Zota, assistant professor of environmental and occupational health at the George Washington University School of Public Health and Health Services, found a 65 percent drop in the average blood levels of polybrominated diphenyl ethers (PBDEs) found in pregnant women during the three-year period of the study.
