The University at Albany SUNY School of Public Health Center for Global Health co-hosted a seminar and panel discussion on “Getting to Zero and Addressing HIV in the Middle East” in recognition of World AIDS Day 2013. The event was planned in partnership with the school’s Graduation Student Association and the University’s Global Institute for Health and Human Rights.  Facilitated by the University’s internationally recognized HIV/AIDS visionary, Dr. Arash Alaei, the seminar focused on the HIV and AIDS situation in Iran, Iraq, Afghanistan, and Saudi Arabia.
