Dr. Vanessa R. Schick, assistant professor in the division of management, policy, and community health at The University of Texas School of Public Health, has received the Outstanding Young Professional Award from the Population, Reproductive, and Sexual Health Section of the American Public Health Association. The award was presented to her November 4, at the annual meeting of the American Public Health Association. The Outstanding Young Professional Award honors individuals who deserve recognition early in their career because of professional accomplishments, initiative, and dedication to the field.
