Head computed tomography (CT) technical factors used in the United States were examined by Dr. Gary Cutter, professor in the department of biostatistics and head of the Section on Research Methods and Clinical Trials at the University of Alabama at Birmingham School of Public Health, and Mr. Guoqiao Wang, doctoral student in the department of biostatistics, with other colleagues to provide a baseline for future guidelines.
