Dr. Millicent Eidson, associate professor and associate chair of the department of epidemiology and biostatistics at the University at Albany SUNY School of Public Health, and a research scientist with the New York State Department of Health (NYSDOH) Office of Public Health Practice, was recently awarded the American Veterinary Medical Association (AMVA) Public Service Award at the AMVA annual meeting. The award recognizes a veterinarian member of AMVA for their long-term, outstanding public service and contributions to public health and regulatory veterinary medicine.
