Researchers at the University of California, Irvine and California State University, Fullerton teamed up to conduct a study with key informants in the Romanian health care system to inform and guide a needs assessment of Romanian immigrants in southern California. This study, recently published in the Californian Journal of Health Promotion, serves as a gateway to future assessments of the Romanian-American population and other White/Caucasian groups from different countries of origin to identify and address unique high-risk health profiles.
