Dr. Beatriz Solis, graduate of the UCLA Jonathan and Karin Fielding School of Public Health (MPH ’96, PhD ’07), president of the Fielding School of Public Health Alumni Association and director of community health at The California Endowment, has been appointed by Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti to serve as interim director of the new Office of Strategic Partnerships, coordinating public and private efforts on various programs.
