Dr. Marian Fitzgibbon, professor of health policy and administration at the University of Illinois at Chicago School of Public Health, is the president-elect of the Society of Behavioral Medicine (SBM) for 2014-2015. Dr. Fitzgibbon, who is also professor of medicine and the deputy director of UIC’s Institute for Health Research and Policy, will assume the SBM’s presidency at their annual meeting in 2015.
