Mr. Paul Chiou, a 2012 alumnus of the UMass Amherst MPH in Public Health Practice program, has been selected as one of the American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP) “40 Under Forty” honorees for 2015. Mr. Chiou serves as a Cytopathology Supervisor at the Lenox Hill Hospital in New York.

The ASCP is the world’s largest professional membership organization for pathologists and laboratory professionals. Each year, the organization recognizes forty members under the age of 40 with achievements and qualities that are vital to the pathology and laboratory sciences fields. The top five among the 40 Under Forty will be awarded free registration and a stipend toward the 2015 ASCP conference being held in Long Beach, California, on October 28-30.
