On October 25, 2013, Ms. Liz Weist, ASPPH director of special projects, and Ms. Dorothy Biberman, ASPPH manager of global health programs, represented IPEC and ASPPH, respectively, at a roundtable discussion hosted by University of Maryland, Baltimore entitled Building Global Health Team Excellence: Developing an Interprofessional Skills Competency Domain. The roundtable was sponsored by the University of Maryland, Baltimore Global Health Interprofessional Council and was supported by the Consortium of Universities for Global Health (CUGH) and developed based on input from representatives of National Institutes of Health's Fogarty International Center and the Institute of Medicine. University of Maryland (College Park) School of Public Health representatives was also in attendance. The agenda is available here.
