HIV testing is central to controlling the spread of the virus and preventing the development of AIDS. Ms. Jaime Adler, health behavior master’s student at the University of North Carolina Gillings School of Global Public Health, was among those organizing an all-day World AIDS Day HIV Testing event on campus on December 3. The free event offered confidential, walk-in testing and was open to all students, UNC faculty and staff members, and the broader Chapel Hill community.
