A comprehensive summary of findings to date was released February 24 by the National Heart, Lung and Blood Institute, one of the National Institutes of Health, as the “Hispanic Community Health Study Data Book: A Report to the Communities”. Dr. Jianwen Cai, professor and vice chair in the department of biostatistics of the University of North Carolina Gillings School of Global Public Health, is the principal investigator for the HCHS/SOL Coordinating Center, within the department of biostatistics’ Collaborative Studies Coordinating Center (CSCC).
