UNC, Tulane, and Johns Hopkins: Fogarty Global Health Fellows Program Renewed

The Global Health Fellows Program, funded by the Fogarty International Center, is led by the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and includes Tulane, Johns Hopkins University, and the Morehouse School of Medicine. In the 2017-18 academic year, the program will receive approximately $1 million from the NIH to support 18 trainees.

The fellows program provides pre- and post-doctoral candidates year-long mentored research training in more than a dozen global training sites.

A total of 18 fellowships were funded for the 2017-2018 cohort, drawn from more than forty competitive applications.

Applications for the 2018-2019 class will open soon, with a deadline of November 1, 2017.
