Wash U Finds Genetics News Coverage Better in Minority-Serving Media

Researchers from the Brown School at Washington University in St. Louis, found Black newspapers to be a promising communication channel for findings and implications of human genome research to African-American audiences. The findings by Dr. Charlene Caburnay, research professor at the Brown School and co-director of the Health Communication Research Laboratory, were published on-line September 28 in Public Health Genomics.</p>
