Washington University in St. Louis broke ground June 12 on a two-year, $60 million expansion that will bring together the Brown School’s public health and social work programs. The centerpiece of the expansion will be a new, 105,000 square foot building that will be connected to the existing Brown and Goldfarb halls on the university’s main campus. “The building will have a tremendous impact on the Brown School’s teaching and research and will help its faculty, students and staff provide new innovations,” said Chancellor Mark S. Wrighton.
